We’re getting to that time of year that every sports fan dreams about. Arguably, the fall season is the greatest time for sports. All major sports are represented. The Major League Baseball (MLB)season is coming to a close and baseball fans are gearing up for the playoffs. The National Football League (NFL) starts their season in early September. As students go back to school, so begins the NCAA Athletic season. The National Hockey League (NHL) opens play at the end of September and the National Basketball Association (NBA) follows at the end of October.

What does all this mean to the sports fan?

Fans across the nation will be flocking to the stadiums of their favorite teams to root them on to victory. For years, fans have been travelling to sports venues early to tailgate before the big game. They lay out the food on tailgating tables, relax in tailgating chairs and even bring televisions for watching the pre-game show!

Most fans will also be wearing team jerseys or team hats to show their support. Tailgating really is a great way to spend the day supporting your team and bonding with other fans before entering the venue and settiling into your stadium seat to watch the game. As the popularity of tailgating rises, more and more tailgating supplies and tailgating products are being introduced to the market.
