We have to admit, this is an incredible advancement into how runners can track their progress in order to continually challenge themselves while on their run. No true blue runner should be without this wonderful tracking system. However, runners should also know that while Nike intended for their Nike+ sensor only to be used with Nike+ Ready shoes, there have been a few third party additions to the marketplace, including the iPod Sensor Shoe pouch which attaches to the top of any shoe by threading the laces through loops in the back. Nike+ Arm Bands are also available. Both products eliminate the need to buy the special Nike+ ready shoes.
