Tomorrow is Selection Sunday. If you’re an NCAA Basketball fan, you know exactly what that means, but, if you’re not, we’ll let you in on the not-so-quiet secret. Selection Sunday is the day when teams are chosen to compete in the NCAA Men’s Division I Basketball Championship.

The Championship is a single elimination tournament held each spring featuring 65 college basketball teams in the United States. More widely known as March Madness or the Big Dance, the tournament takes place over 3 weeks at sites across the United States, and the national semifinals (the Final Four) have become one of the nation’s most prominent sporting events.

More importantly, it means that NCAA basketball fans around the country are gearing up for the tournament and getting ready to cheer their team onto victory. If you’re one of the fans that gets caught up in March Madness every year, you also probably show your support by wearing your team colors on an NCAA Tshirt, NCAA sweatshirt or NCAA ‘one fit’ hat.
